Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change (MoCC) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) launched the ‘Inclusive Museum’ and held the ‘Inclusive Museum Exhibition Opening Ceremony’ on 27 November.
Officiating at the ceremony were Professor Gladys Wai Lan Tang, Director of CUHK Centre for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies, Dr Dawning Leung, Founder of Audio Description Association (Hong Kong), Mrs Cecilia Lam, Director of the CUHK Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change and Ms Lily Chung, Director of CUHK Diversity and Inclusion Office.
The museum collaborated with the Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies Centre of CUHK and the Audio Description Association (Hong Kong) and developed climate-related educational materials for part of the museum exhibits. The museum now features 11 exhibits that include Hong Kong Sign Language videos and audio guides with audio description content.
