In this special episode, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, together with Ms María Fernanda Espinosa and Professor K. Srinath Reddy, discussed The Lancet Commission Report on the lessons learned for the future from the COVID-19 pandemic, ranging from the background of the Commission and possible origins of the coronavirus that caused COVID-19, to the failures of international cooperation and national public-health-policy-making.  They further dived into the Commission's recommendations on how to prevent or confront future global health emergencies, starting with strengthening the World Health Organization (WHO) as the core pillar of global policy.
